The Cole Public Library Seed Share is a non-profit, free community seed sharing program located on the first floor of Cole Library that is managed and supported by Linn County Master Gardeners. The Seed Share library was founded to promote the sharing of open pollinated seed, provide education on seed growing and saving techniques, and to create a community interested in the relevancy of local food and the ability to food itself. It is hoped that it will foster a network of self-reliant gardeners along with a culture of sharing. No matter if you are a seasoned grower or a new sprout to gardening, we hope you use the Seed Share to learn more, experience the joy of gardening, and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
The Seed Share Library is available to local residents and educations. Stop by Cole Library to check out the seed share and find out more about how it works!
