Teen Book Groups
Check out our teen book discussion groups! We have two groups: one for middle school students and one for high school students. Both groups meet once a month from September through May and are a great way for teens to connect through meaningful literature. The groups gets together at the beginning of each school year to decide which books will be read and members receive a copy of each title to keep. The group is generously sponsored by Hills Bank & Trust.

Adult Book Groups
Cole Library hosts two book discussion groups for adults: Community of Readers and the Tuesday Morning Book Group.
Community of Readers
Community of Readers meets monthly at Cole Library and books are chosen by the members and vary in content. We select a new book each month, so it is never too late to join. Contact Cathy Boggs at (319) 895-4262 or cboggs@cornellcollege.edu if you would like to join.

Tuesday Morning Book Club
The Tuesday Morning Book Club also meets monthly at Cole Library and is lead by Sherene Player. Books are chosen by members and meetings occur during the day. If you would like to join in the discussion, call Sherene at 319-535-1105 or just come that morning.

Social Justice Book Club
The Social Justice Book Group will meet quarterly to discuss books that reflect social justice, racism, decolonization, identity, and personal narratives that relate to marginalized communities. If you would like to join in the discussion, call Sherene at 319-535-1105 or just come that morning.
