Rock Out at the Library with the Summer Reading Program
Summer Reading Program:
Keep the whole family reading this summer with Cole Library’s Summer Reading Program. This year, we have 3 different programs: Children, Teen, and Parent Reading Partners. Sign up at the 1st floor circulation desk to take part. The theme this year is Libraries Rock!
Monday Morning Movies:
Beginning June 4th, each Monday morning at 10 a.m. Cole Library will host Monday Morning Movies in Room 108. The library will show a feature G or PG rated movie. Mount Vernon Bank and Trust is sponsoring this program. Each person in attendance will get a free popcorn and drink.

Come build and play at Lego Club! Lego Club meets every Tuesday, 10:00-11:00 a.m., on the 2nd floor.
Let your creativity run wild at our weekly science/arts-and-crafts program. Wednesday Workshops are held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Room 108. Space is limited, so please RSVP to 895-4271 to reserve a seat.

Paws for Reading:
If you like dogs and reading then we have a special treat for you! Each Thursday during the summer, from 2:00-3:30 p.m., we will have a therapy dog here in the library for you to read to. Stop in at the first floor circulation desk and sign up for a 15 minute time slot.
Blank Park Zoo
The Blank Park Zoo will bring some awesome animals to the library on Wednesday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. on the library’s second floor. Come and meet these animal friends!
Fossil Workshop with The Rock Doc!
Wednesday, July 18th at 10:00am on the library’s 2nd floor
Come learn about Coralville Lake’s Devonian Fossil Gorge and examine fossils found there! Use your detective skills to learn what these fossils tell us about the environment 375 million years ago when the fossils were living organisms. This children’s program is free and open to everyone.
